The Journey Begins

Welcome and tlazocamati for joining use here at Cipactlan!

We are excited to be reaching you through this blog which will serve as a text-based behind-the-scenes resource of sorts. Our subject matter may branch out from there to different subjects but that is something we will let grow organically.

It feels difficult to fill out this initial post but, in retrospect, it took a substantial amount of effort to reach this point including a wide array of experience in different fields of study and professional development including agriculture, food manufacturing, construction, and information technology (to name a few). This experience paired with our connections to Indigenous culture led to The Tlamanalli Initiative which eventually led to Cipactlan.

Looking towards the future, we will soon begin processing laptops for donation, details on how you may get one will be provided soon but, in short, this will be based on the completion of our Tzintiliztli Workshop Series that will teach you how to modify, set up, and care for your devices.

We’ll be touching up on those subject in greater detail in future posts so we can adequately express the history and community efforts that helped create the organization as well as how we can help you.
